Love This Smile using Cocoa Vanilla Studio More Than Words by Kerryn

Good morning everyone!
Can you believe we are already at the end of March.
Today I have one final page to share with you created using
Cocoa Vanilla Studio More Than Words.
The photos are of another one of my beautiful great-nieces,
a day at Botanic Gardens.

The page started with Kraft cardstock base, Archival Ink and
I've stamped directly onto the cardstock to appear under the paper layers
and then coloured the images using Distress Oxide Inks.

The Die Cut Ephemera was once again one of the stars of the page.
I've layered the flowers using foam tape and created three clusters.
The 2 Crafty Mini Camera has been painted with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint
and then outlined with a gold pen.

The 2 Crafty Heart String Frame has been used to highlight one of the photos,
it was painted with Distress Paint Tumbled Paint and outlined with gold pen.

I have used the 2 Crafty word Smile to create the title,
along with some words from the Sticker Sheet.
I've given the word smile a two-tone finish with Abandoned Coral
and Victorian Velvet Distress Paint.
I've used a gold pen to highlight the split in colours.

The 2 Crafty Ornate Dragonfly has been painted with three Distress Paints,
Abandoned Coral, Victorian Velvet and Mustard Seed.
I've blend the colours with a sponge to give a graduated finish.
To finish off, I have outlined with gold pen.

That's a wrap on my March projects.
I have thoroughly enjoyed creating with this collection.
Thanks for visiting today.
I hope you have a great weekend, with plenty of crafting.
Please check back on Monday for Fiona's next project.

"Hello sunshine", by Amanda

Hi all,

It is nearly Easter... and I could not resist the new Easter range of papers from Photo Play - Easter Blessings Collection. I mean, there are bunnies in hot air balloons!

Add a cute snapchat filter photo of my second daughter and this page was done in no time! I have lots more paper and stickers left after doing this page, so hoping I get some good Easter photos this weekend to team up with this collection.

Here is the page and some close ups...

I started with 3 main papers in the range: Easter Eggs, Easter Basket, and Peeps. Although there are lovely designs on every page, for the two base papers I chose to use the plainer B sides to the papers. I used large panels of these papers and machine stitched them.
I layered more of Easter Basket, and Peeps behind the photo, before using the stickers from the collection to finish the page.
See... bunnies in hot air balloons! So cute!
I layered some stickers near the top of the page, fixing some to the page with foam tape for some dimension.

Then more stickers near the photo and for the title.

And that's my page for today! I do love these papers and can't wait for the chance to play again!

Thanks for looking,

Amanda

Precious Moments with Cocoa Vanilla Studio More than Words by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Happy Monday! Today I have another share with Cocoa Vanilla Studio More than Words.

Precious Moments

If you can't tell by now, this is one of my absolute favourite collections, the colours are just stunning and the embellishments perfect. For this page I have gone for some clean lines and design.

I love the floral design on the paper Darling Buds, so used a large piece matted onto a neutral background to create my design. I added a bolder pattern to the back of my photo to create contrast, then added a banner of another paper in a contrasting colour before sticking it all onto my pink background paper.

The two butterflies, I fussy cut from the Treasure paper, then I embellished the page with a mix of the CVS More than Words ephemera, chipboard stickers and enamel dots.

Love the ready made titles in the chipboard stickers set, perfect and ready to go!

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Fiona

One of a Kind using Cocoa Vanilla Studio More Than Words by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone.
Another fabulous Friday here at All About Scrapbooks.
Still having a blast creating with Cocoa Vanilla Studio More Than Words
This week's project was so much fun and
features some gorgeous photos of one of my great-nieces.
I started the page with a clean white background.
But as you can see, it didn't stay that way for long!
Using Distress Oxide Inks, some plastic packaging and water,
I've created the background effect.
Drying in between layers and adding some splashes as well.
Once everything was dry, I have used the same colors and
the More Than Word stamps for another layer.

Such an awesome stamp set, especially the 'Love this' stamp.
I also add some water splashes directly to the backgound
and then mopped up the excess with paper towel for another effect.

The paper layers under the photos are minimal.
I did add a small black base to each photo.
The strip of Radiant across the page.
A small piece of the black side of Glossamer.
With two pieces of Previous either side of the photos,
most of the paper is barely visible.

The Die Cut Ephemera provided all of the flowers,
the perfect addition to the bottom of the photos.
Also used a frame on the centre photo and used foam tape for dimension

The 2 Crafty ZigZag frames have been painted with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint.
I've added a second layer on the chipboard using in Picket Fence,
Worn Lipstick and the tiny hearts stamp.
The 2 Crafty Word Circle was made for these photos as her name is Summer!
I've painted it with Distress Paint and chopped the top of to tuck under the chipboard word.

The Sticker sheet helped to add the final touches.
A few words popped around the page and heart element.
I have fussy cut some words from Noteworthy to create a mini title.

That's my page for this week.
Thanks for visiting today, I hope you have enjoyed the page
and get a chance to create over the weekend.
The Distress Oxide Inks are a must to play with, love the effect they have.
Please pop back on Monday to see Fiona's next project.

Harry Potter Pages - Part 2 - by Amanda H

Hi again!

And welcome to part two of my Harry Potter pages.
Today I share more pages of my daughter's 14th birthday party using the "Wizard World" collection from Photo Play. I combined the Wizard World papers and die cuts with some cardstock, machine stitching, a few colour splatters and some small embellishments to finish the pages.

Page 1: Potions

Abby had a "potions" table at her party - filled with drinks and polyjuice potion (aka green jelly!).

For this page I started with white cardstock and layered many of the green papers in the Wizard World collection.

I brought in some diecuts, stickers and a good splattering of gold with Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Spray - in Bling.

For the title I used the awesome Jillibean Soup alphabet letters.

CV - Wild At Heart Ephemera
Jillibean Soup - Alphabean Stickers - Navy Diagonal

Page 2: "Magical"

The next page was photos of Abby's birthday cake. We made a cheesecake but designed it like the cake Hagrid made for Harry. The green icing writing meant I brought in green elements to the page. However, Abby was horrified that I used the "Expecto Patronum" curse on this page - clearly it is out of place- even if it looks good!

For this page, I started with some white and black cardstock. I layered a panel of paper from the Wizard World collection. Then I added cool diecuts (with the dark green colours), and some stickers and sequins. I also added some splatters using Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Spray in Fire Engine.

For the title I included the chipboard word "Magical" (inked black) from the Fine words 2 Crafty chipboard set.

Page 3: Platform 9 3/4

Abby and I created a brick wall using a sheet, sponge and paint for her party - as the entry to her party through Platform 9 and 3/4. I had to document this in a scrapbook page!

For this page, I started with some white cardstock and a piece of Kaisercraft patterned paper for the background, including some machine stitching. I really wanted to capture the brick pattern, so I used Colour Blast Colour Paste in Leather through a brick stencil for the page. I also handcut some elements from the Wizard World papers and diecuts.

To finish I included some stickers, sequins and black Colour Blast splatters.

I LOVED using the Wizard World papers to create pages to remember my daughter's birthday party! Do you have a Harry Potter fan? These papers are perfect!

Thanks for looking,
Amanda

Precious Memories & Wonderful with Cocoa Vanilla Studio More than Words by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

I have two layouts to share with you all this week!

More Cocoa Vanilla Studio love from me this week with my class page I taught at the monthly AAS  crop day earlier this month, using More than Words:

Precious Memories
For this layout I have used the Distress Oxide Inks straight onto the Noteworthy paper - love this paper for a background! I've used a watercolour technique combining the plastic bag technique with using a paint brush straight onto the page and mopping up the excess ink with paper towel.

Next I have used lots of the gorgeous papers to create some layers, mounted my photo then dug into the ephemera pack to embellish my page. So many to choose from in these packets, I especially love the butterflies and flowers.

I have another layout to share with you today, again using the stunning Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection, can you tell I love this collection yet?

Wonderful

For this layout, I wanted to go with a linear design to follow the pose in this photo. Then I have clustered my embellishments around the photo, adding the title along the bottom.

Again I've gone with the stunning embellishments in the collection - chipboard stickers, ephemera, enamel shapes and flair buttons!!

Love this deer head, so cute:
